The History of the Oakroom
The Oakroom came from humble beginnings. The owners of Orlando Bar Concepts constructed an elegant lounge for their own personal use. This room was used to entertain family and friends, as well as for the hosting of private parties. As the success of the company and the network of the founders began to grow, so did the reputation of the room. Those allowed access to the room moved from simply personal relations to business and political contacts. This transformed the room from a private lounge to an extraordinary networking hub. That is the standing in which the room is now held.
Considered one of the most powerful rooms in the city, the Oakroom is frequented by local politicians, celebrities, professional athletes, entrepreneurs, business mogules, and other successful individuals.
In order to keep the privacy and mistique of the room, it had to be regulated. Thus began the Oakroom membership program. The room is currently exclusive to only those individuals who have specifically been invited by the owners, management, or those who are current Oakroom members.
The company, and its members do not take the membership lightly. Only those individual patrons who have shown themselves to be of the highest caliber and built a relationship with our company are exteneded the invitation to become a member. If the individual accepts, he/she is registered as a member and from that point on is recognized by the staff, management, and owners as such.
